What has been the most memorable milestone in your 4-year journey with us?

The most memorable milestone in my 4-year journey at GPI began when I joined as an Associate Business Analyst, progressed to Business Analyst, and most recently, just a month ago, stepped into the role of Junior Data Project Manager. This achievement reflects the growth, learning, and continuous support I have received over the years. Taking on this role marks an exciting new chapter, and I am eager to contribute at a broader level and make an even greater impact.

What challenges have shaped you the most during your time here?

The challenges that have shaped me the most involve managing complex projects, meeting tight deadlines, and balancing multiple priorities. Navigating these situations has taught me the importance of careful planning, clear communication, and adaptability. At the same time, I have learned to collaborate effectively with my team while balancing my personal goals and milestones. These experiences have strengthened my skills, boosted my confidence, and helped me grow as a proactive problem solver.

Which project are you most proud of contributing to?

I am proud to have contributed to several key projects. In the USA Additional Price Refresh Automation project, I helped streamline a manual process, enhancing efficiency and accuracy, and being involved from planning to implementation gave me a strong sense of ownership. In the China data project, I took full responsibility for sourcing and standardizing pharmaceutical data from the NRDL. I also worked on standardizing clinical comparator data by refining the logic, improving consistency and quality across analyses. Each project has been rewarding and instrumental in my professional growth.

Who has been your biggest inspiration at work and why?

I have been fortunate to have amazing support at GPI and to work in such an excellent work culture. Kate Anstee has been inspiring, offering guidance, challenging me to think differently, and helping me approach work with clarity. Kunal Tambade has been a great mentor, helping me grow, navigate challenges, and build confidence. Bansi has guided me through new challenges and supported my professional growth. My peers, Rahul, Akshay, Falex, Sanjana, Charvi, Deepa, Barkha and Priti, keep me motivated every day. Their collective support and collaborative approach to problem-solving continue to inspire me to strive for excellence.

What’s one skill you’ve mastered that helped you reach this role?

I have cultivated strong project management and problem-solving skills, enabling me to plan and execute complex projects efficiently, tackle challenges with practical solutions, and deliver impactful results with confidence and ownership.

How has your definition of success at work evolved over these years?

When I first joined, I viewed success primarily as delivering tasks accurately and on time. Over the years, my perspective has evolved to emphasize collaboration, strategic impact, and continuous learning. Today, I define success as creating meaningful value through my work, supporting and enabling my team, and fostering my own professional growth.

If your career journey so far were a movie, what would the title be?

If my career journey so far was a movie, then the title would be “The Learning Curve” – a journey of continuous growth, adapting to challenges, and evolving professionally.

What’s your go-to stress buster after a long day?

Being a sports enthusiast, I often unwind with a cricket match, which helps me recharge and stay active. I also enjoy photography, cinematography, and editing photos or videos, which allows me to be creative and clear my mind. These activities boost my energy, keep me motivated, and help me maintain balance both at work and in life.

If we looked at your desk right now, what’s the quirkiest thing we’d find?

You would probably spot a cricket ball or table tennis ball, reflecting my love for sports, alongside photography props, a vintage camera, and gadgets that showcase my photography, reels, cinematography, and behind-the-scenes work. It is a blend of my passions for sports and visual storytelling, keeping me motivated and energized even during work hours.

If you could swap jobs with anyone for a day, who would it be?

I would love to swap jobs with a wildlife or travel photographer/cinematographer for a day. Experiencing their creative process, capturing stories through the lens, and exploring new perspectives would be exciting and inspiring, giving me fresh ideas to bring creativity into my own work.

What’s a fun fact about you that your colleagues might not know?

One thing my team might not know is that I am a gadget geek. I love exploring mobiles, laptops, cameras, and other tech gadgets just for fun, experimenting with them, and discovering new ways to enjoy technology.

If your team had to give you a nickname, what would it be?

I think my team would probably call me “The Sporting Snapper” because of my love for photography and sports. It reflects my passion for capturing moments through my lens while staying active and engaged in various sporting activities.

One word your friends outside of work would use to describe you is…
